Life lately

Steamed mussels and champagne Valentine's dinner

This week involved some ups and downs during the days, but ultimately came together to feel pretty successful (catching on to a new job and routine is bound to be bumpy at times). However, last night was the perfect way to round out Valentine's Day, which involved a delicious home cooked meal, flowers, and a night in that no restaurant would be able to offer us. Glancing at the gorgeous weather that is in store for LA this weekend, I'm hoping to unwind after the week and spend as much time outside. Going on another hike, testing out new restaurants, and brunch with friends are all on the schedule and I can't wait to dive in and clear my head a bit. Hope everyone has lovely weekends.

Delicious amount of cookies at a work event (it was hard, but i didn't have one)
